Health care in the eyes of God

Submitted by seonzcf

There is a latent aspect of God’s wishes. Let’s remember ‘Jesus Christ’. God’s wishes were that Christ’s body, mind and spirit must be strong and ready for all sorts of battle. Actually, this is a message for everyone that our body should be strong enough to tackle each and every hassles of our life.
Basically, one must understand that your today’s decision on health choices will determine your tomorrow’s physical condition. Philosopher community takes it in spiritual way and interestingly, there are few convincing reasons. For instance, they refer Moses’ remark about health and sickness. Moses had immense faith in God and hence, did not use even the single current medical misconception. Some other supporting notes are mentioned below:
• Spiritualists refer 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. In new international version, it states, “Do you know that your body is a temple of Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from god? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body”.
• Another supporting quote is referred from 1 Thessalonians 5:23. It states, “May god himself, the god of piece, sanctify you through and through! May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our lord Jesus Christ!
• The wise philosophers also get support from the quote of Jeremiah 12:5. According to the King James Version, the quote is, “If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? And if in the land of peace, wherein thou trustedst, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?” In the simplest word, the whole statement is the question whether physically, mentally or spiritually – are you fit for god’s purpose?
The bottom line of all above mentioned Holy Quotes is to take the best care of health because it is god’s wish that we must be strong and prepare for his kingdom. We should not forget that god resides inside us so when we take care of our body then we take care of god. Hence the foundation like New Zealand Christian Foundation is prominently focused upon the health issues.
