Dubrovnik`s night life

Well, Dubrovnik is not a true beach spot, even there are some very nice beaches, but aside from this it is the most attractive destination in Croatia for many people. So let`s talk about the beautiful parts of this town, like the beauty of the old town of Dubrovnik or it`s nightlife and party venues. So many web sites praise the beauty of the old town so we should also do it in a few sentences.
The city's fortified old town with its amazing walls overlooks the breathtaking Adriatic from a shelter of cliffs and its marble paved streets are lined with magnificent preserved churches, superb palaces, squares, and terracotta-roofed townhouses. It has really an amazing history.
Ok, this is enough, let`s pass on to the party part. Of course you can spend your days on endless exploring Dubrovnik's ancient monuments, but history is not the only attractive part of this sunny city.
So what about the "party site"? Let`s start with the most popular beach bar in town "Eastwest". The great Eastwest Beach Club is situated on the famous beach "Banje", east of the old town. It is the most famous party place in and around Dubrovnik. Famous stars, international sportsmen, artists who are visiting Dubrovnik are daily visitors of this special place and the wonderful lounge.
Dubrovnik is a city with a lively nightlife, but if you are looking for wild parties and hordes of bars then Dubrovnik is maybe not the right place for you. The nightlife mainly consists of nice restaurants, live music & shows and a nice choice of outdoor bars and cafés.
This could be a perfect evening in Dubrovnik :
Start with a walk along the Old Town's famous Stradun or Placa street. Many people who have visited the old town agree: it is one of the most beautiful streets worldwide. Its sidewalk cafes are perfect spots for Croatia's favorite pastime: people watching. Later you can move to one of numerous bars or restaurants in the streets of the Old Town.

We recommend Buza bar for the romantic souls between you, a bar located precariously to the cliffs. You can reach it going through a hole in the city wall which has a simply sign "cold drinks". It is a bar for beautiful sunset-watching. There are steps leading from the terrace to the beach where you can swim or just lie on the pebbled beach.
If you like cocktails Hemingway will be the right place for you. Comfortable chairs and a 30-page cocktail menu are waiting for you on this great place.
If you can't live without an Irish bar, even at a hot Mediterranean place, then Karaka pub is the perfect place for you.
The Latino club Fuego, is for those who like hot rhythm.It is one of the best and busiest nightclubs in town. Nice events, cool interior, friendly staff, affordable prices and good music are its trade mark. It is a good place to meet other backpackers.
If this Latino club is too soft for you, and you are looking for more action, try the Bikers' Cafe - located at Ploce. This is a place for boozy nights and rock and roll, join the bikers on their nightly adventures.
Too much action? Do you like it more calm and relaxed? Then try the Troubadur Jazz cafe . This is a great, relaxed place where you can settle back and enjoy great music in a unique ambiance. The owner Marko looks like a pirat and is a passionate jazz musician. He was also performing on Eurovision Song Contest in 1968.
Our last recommendation for Dubrovnik's night scene: the kingly center Labirint with a casino, restaurant and the nightclub Lazareti, which offers live music and club nights with an amazing ambiance with international DJ`s. Dress up.

It would be simply inexcusable not to mention the very famous Dubrovnik Summer Festival. It starts in July, lasts for one month and is full of first class cultural events, visited by international celebrities and numerous tourists. It is a huge colorful party for residents and visitors. residents and visitors join together in a happy, colorful party.
