Worms have become a threat that shut down the Internet, although most of the cases that occurred in a specific system based on Windows. Some types of worms using the latest electronic mail (e-mail) as a distribution medium.

Activation Method and Distribution Mechanism
The difference between the worm and virus is located on how they require user intervention to do penggandaandiri and spread menginfeksi computer system. The virus is slow in comparison to the spread of the worm. However, the virus has more ability to avoid detection of anti-virus program that seeks to identify and control the spread of the virus on sistimkomputer. However, the practice of spreading.

The virus can be a worm. To facilitate discussion, we limit the terms of worms and viruses to the activation method performed by a wormproses made a worm to execute on a system komputerdan mechanism that allows the spread of a worm roam from one host to another host.

Activation Method
Understanding of how the worm can be active on a host closely related wormuntuk with the ability to spread itself, a number of worms can be arranged directly to active (activated nearly immediately), while others can wait a few days, weeks or even months to be able to teraktivasi and then spread itself

Activation with user intervention
Activation process is slow because most require user intervention to execute the worm, the better we realize or not by the user. But as the socialization of the danger incentive do worms and viruses, users can be more careful not to execute the program or open a foreign e-mail attachments from people who do not dikenalnya, this will certainly slow the process of activation worm. But the worm does not despair with the condition that they perform social engineering techniques, such as that done by the Melissa virus that seems to send important information from people who have been known by the victim or personal messages sent by other ILOVEYOU virus. While Melissa is a macro virus in Word programMicrosoft user intervention, but with the spread of Melissa on the Internet had become the most frightening threat.

Activation scheduled
Method of activation worm more quickly is to use the system on a scheduled (Scheduled system proces). There are many programs that run on desktop and server environment for the process in accordance with the schedule provided. This method still requires intervesi human intervention, but this time the attacker is required. For example, the program auto-update of the system to make the process of updating the server vendor. With the update to the remote host as a master, an attacker can take advantage of the jockey is to spread the worm to the first or the remote host on the network gateway or on the Internet and change the file or menginfeksi needed update on the process with the worm code.

Self-activation
Activation method is a method of self-fastest in menggandakandiri worm, spread, and host menginfeksi victims. This most popular method used by the worm author. Generally, the worm uses this method using the weakness of security (security flaw) in the service of general use. For example, the CodeRed worm exploit IIS webserver. Worm will include himself in the service daemon is already dikuasainya or execute commands with the same privileged with that used by the daemon. The process of execution will take place when the worm finds Vulnerable service and exploitation of the service.

The distribution mechanism
Worm menginfeksi victim host and enter the code program as part of the program in wormke. Program code can be machine code, or routine to run other programs that already exist on the victim host. In the process of spreading, worm victims must find new and menginfeksi victim with a copy of itself. Distribution process can take place as the process of distribution (from one host to another host) or as the mass distribution (from one host to many hosts).

The process of consideration as the distribution of mass distribution of the fastest method with the assumption that the restrictions of time is used.

There are several mechanisms used by the spread of worms to find candidates with the victims do scanning, searching for victims based on the target list have been prepared beforehand by the author based on the list or worm that is found on the victim and the system in metaserver, and the passive monitoring.

Scanning
Scanning method involves probing a number of addresses on the Internet and then identify the host Vulnerable. Two simple format of a sequential scanning method (try to identify a block address from the beginning to the end) and random (random).

The spread of worms with the method of scanning both sequential and random, the comparative slow it can be said, however, if combined with the activation automatically, worms can spread more rapidly again. Worm using scanning method usually exploit security holes that have been identified previously, so only a relatively menginfeksi will host a number of course.

Method of scanning the other is considered quite effective with the use of bandwidth-limited routine (as used by CodeRed, is to limit the target with a latency of the connection system is already infected with the victims of the new candidates), which defines the target, there are only at the local address (such as dalamsebuah LAN or WAN), and permutation on the search process.

Scanning the worm is not specific to the application so that the attacker can add a new exploit on a worm that is known. For example, the Slapper worm exploit to get cargo and make a new wormbaru the Scalper.

In general, the scanning speed is limited to a combination of factors such as the number of machines Vulnerable, the design of the scanner, and the ability of the network monitoring system that is able to identify the existence of the worm with the increased traffic that is quite significant.

Target Lists
A worm can have a target list that has been previously determined by the worm author. With a target list that is determined to make a first worm dalammenyebar more quickly, but of course the distribution is very limited because the target based on a number of addresses on the Internet that have been determined.

In addition, the worm can find a list of victims is required on the host that is dikuasainya, this list is generally used by the worm spreading method based on network topology. The information obtained is an example IP address system and the worm develop into a subnet on WAN or LAN.

Target list is also available at metaserver (the server that provides a number of servers that have the same service). For example, metaserver Gamespy have a list of servers that provide online game service. A worm that utilizes metaserver will do a query first to know of the existence of a new target. This method can also accelerate the spread of a worm that attacks the webserver, worms can use Google or other search engines as metaserver to find the target.

Monitoring the Pasif
Worm does not seek passive victims, but the worm will be waiting for potential victims of candidates and then menginfeksinya. Although this method is slower but passive worm does not produce anomalous traffic patterns so that their presence will be difficult. For example, "antiworm" CRClean not require user activation, this worm waiting CodeRed worm attacks and turunannya, and then make a response to the counter-attack. If the counter-attack was successful, CRClean will remove the CodeRed and menginfeksi with the victim on the machine itself. So CRClean can spread without the process of scanning.

Motivated attacks
Although it is very important to know the technology used by Internet worms, but to be able to understand the threats that come from a worm in the need to understand the motivation of the intruders (such as a worm author), and if possible to identify the intruder who actually is.
There are a lot of motivation that causes a worm made but here is the motivation that underlie common worm attacks.

Pride and Power
Intruder (also creator of the worm) motivated to get the power and show-off their damage with a host of others. Intruders were generally not well organized and find a random target. If they find a system that is weak and Vulnerable against an attack, they will perpetuate the system is on the attack.

Commercial Benefits
In connection with the development of world economy that increasingly depends on the day the performance computer to run the operations day-to-day business, electronic attack directed to a domain can seriously disrupt the transaction is in progress. A worm attacks can be done to get the profit to manipulate the financial limit or space-jerk competition.

Extortion
Because a worm can be made for an attack DOS (Denial of Service) without stopping, extortion against a company can do, and new attacks can be terminated in case of payment transactions in accordance desired by the attacker. Motivation is more terorganisi individual or group.

Protest
Someone with enough knowledge to write a worm can be an attack if he felt wronged by a party tertentuk. He was asked to make a protest with the worm spread on the Internet. Protests can also be a negative impact on the institution that became a target, such as SCO and Microsoft recently have DOS attacks directed to him. Political protests can also become a cargo of worm attacks. For example, the Mail Yaha worm created as a tool of political protest that claimed to be pro-India and DOS attack on the Pakistan government websites.

Terrorism
Objectively, worms can be used by terrorist groups. Because there are many computer systems to the Internet terhubungkan located in developed countries, a worm attacks can be as terrorism. Attacker can include cargo Al-Qaeda terror groups or anti-globalization to attack other.

Cargo (payload)
In connection with the distribution of motivation, there is a load on a worm can vary. Here is a load that is often found in the worm.

No cargo or non-functional
A worm that has a bug in the code that relate the distribution method usually failed to spread, but it has a bug on wormyang capacious still can spread and cause serious effects such as increased network traffic or to identify the active hosts Vulnerable.

Backdoor
CodeRed II worm creates a backdoor on the victim host that allows all people can execute the program on a victim's browser. It also triggered an increase of anti-CodeRed worm that tries to exploit backdoor.

Remote DOS
General cargo from the worm is the ability to perform DoS attacks (Denial of Service). Worm has a tool that can make the attack against a target that is determined depending on the command or someone who is able to make it perform DDoS attacks (Distributed Denial of Service).

Update
A number of tools such as worm W32/Sonic have to update its cargo. W32/Sonice make the process a number of queries to the website to get the code for the new program itself. This capability can be used by the DDoS tool to update the programs become zombie. If the control to do the update still continues eksploit then a module can be included so that the worm can spread more quickly and get more victims.

Spionasme and Data Collection
Worm can be done as a tool to do spionasi and data collection with the search for a specific keyword, such as credit card numbers or other important information on the documents stored on the host that has become a victim.

There are many viruses and worms that make pengerusakan data, such as Chernobyl and Klez, which has perintahperintah deletion of data. Because the worm can spread quickly, they can begin to manipulate or delete data from the beginning of the infection process.

Although most of the BIOS has the ability to prevent reflashing process, some have a worm that is capable of doing routine pengerusakan against certain types of BIOS.

Coercion
With loads of coercive, a worm does not damage menimbukan unless worm is disturbed. As the worm that gives the user the option: allow the worm to stay on the system and do not pengerusakan, or remove the worm but the bad effects caused by damage to the system.
Detecting Internet Worms

A firewall has been developed as a tool to detect the anomaly traffic coming from the Internet and the logfile warned that a worm attack with a port as a target. Firewalls can do blocking access to the administrator to do the analysis and recovery if needed.

Problems commonly found in the automatic response is to accurately detect and analyze a worm that is currently being operated and menginfeksi to a network. This section discusses strategies that have been new and exist in detecting the existence of a worm.

Detector can be a computer or other device that stands alone, located in the DMZ (De-Militarized Zone), or on a backbone, which has the ability to detect locally or centrally. Any room used to be sensitive in a large-scale network to reduce false positives and false negatives. Cable can be said if it is able to successfully detect the occurrence of several types of anomalies worm, incident anomalies can be discovered from the pattern of traffic generated as a consequence of the spread of worms these techniques.

--
kampungnetworks.blogspot.com/2009/01/whats-i nternet-worms-part-1.html

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

On the surface, it sounds so easy. Make gobs of money by working at one of those home typist jobs you hear so much about. What's not to like? You get to work in the comfort of your own home, set your own hours and make good coin without the stress of the typical office environment. But the truth is, most of these jobs are not all they're cracked up to be, and in many cases, turn out to be outright scams carried out by unscrupulous individuals who do nothing more than steal your hard-earned money and disappear into cyberspace, never to be heard from again.

In many cases, home typist jobs are nothing more than spamming. You will be sending out tons of unsolicited emails, only to be paid a pittance in those rare instances where somebody actually "takes the bait" and opens the email. Usually, your email will simply disappear into a spam folder, never to be read. And you'll no doubt end up annoying people who are tired of getting another one of those "get rich quick" emails, and you might end up getting yourself in a little hot water for violating ant-spam policies.

Often, what will happen when you respond to an ad for home typist jobs is that you will be required to pay an up-front fee, say, $50, and in a few weeks you will receive in the mail a list of names that you could have easily gotten out of a phone directory yourself. Then it's up to you to make the contacts and offer your typing services. In most cases, these companies will have no need whatsoever for your services, and aren't even aware of the existence of the company that supposedly contacted them about the need for typing services. Meanwhile, your $50 is gone in a puff of smoke.

And the ironic thing about many home typist jobs is that the tables are often turned on the typist. Once these scam companies get a hold of your email address, it is often sold to other scam artists for a handsome profit. Before you know it, your Inbox will be inundated with all kinds of other illegitimate work-at-home opportunities, so you will become turn from being a "spammer" to a "spammee."

--
Dana is the author and owner of www.mrsforex.com and the Mrs Forex Currency Trading company.
Computer virus can really be a real treat to our very existence. Since the onset of computers, they already have become an integral part of our daily lives. Especially with the onslaught of the Internet, we now depend on computers so much from our files, to address book, to information sources, to connecting with friends, etc.

A properly designed and executed virus can have a very disabling effect on our computer. Computer viruses then show us how vulnerable we can be and how human beings became so intricate with computers and technology in so many aspects in their lives.

A computer virus is like any program. However, the goal of every computer virus is to destroy files or computer systems by spreading itself in such a fast phase to unsuspecting computer users.

In order to protect your computers from these damaging and disabling viruses, we must be vigilant and employ all possible defenses against them. So let antivirus program be your first line of defense against the paralyzing effects of computer viruses.

Best tip yet, be sure to install anti-virus program from a reputable source. It is rather important to update and use the anti-virus program regularly. Everyday, new viruses come out so if you have an outdated antivirus program, it will not provide you with the much-needed protection your computer may require.

Take note that there are several reliable antivirus programs that can be downloaded for free, these are called antivirus freeware. Antivirus downloads can secure your computer and your very life. Make it a habit to check antivirus online help for updates on viruses to guard your computer before the virus hits you off-guard, which can surely bring out in you an unrelenting ogre.

The most common sources of viruses are from online chat sessions so be extremely careful about accepting programs and files. Computer virus creators are also Internet mainstays. They are these technologically gifted individuals who just want to create havoc out of their expertise, and that is creating computer viruses. So they frequent online chat rooms with the intention of generating tons of unsuspecting victims. And then, spreading the venom they just created would never be a problem because of the myriad of online chat users logging on and off.

Be sure to make backup copies of your most important files, ideally in separate CDs, DVDs, and USB drives. So if ever a virus infected your computer, you will not be at a loss.

If a virus already entered your computer, follow the directions in your antivirus freeware or antivirus downloads on how to clean it. And if you need assistance, do not hesitate to check the antivirus online support services of your antivirus freeware.

But don’t get intimated by computer viruses, as long as you have back up for your files, viruses can never annoy you anymore. In fact, today, viruses are somewhat not that disabling as before due to the popularity of reputable antivirus freeware, antivirus downloads, and antivirus online helps. So if you got the viruses from the Internet, you can likewise get rid of them also through the Internet.

--
Want to know more about Computer Viruses

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

What is The Difference Between a Worm, Virus and Trojan Horse?

Tips and recommendations for protecting your PC...
Most of us don't make a real difference between worm, virus and Trajan Horse or refer to a worm or Trajan Horse as a virus.

All of us know all are malicious programs that can cause very serious damage to PC. Exist differences among the three, and knowing those differences can help you to better protect your computer from their often damaging effects.

A computer virus is a program or piece of code that is loaded onto your computer without your knowledge and runs against your wishes. Some viruses cause only mildly annoying effects while others can damage your hardware, software or files. Almost all viruses are attached to an executable file, which means the virus may exist on your computer but it cannot infect your computer unless you run or open the malicious program. A virus cannot be spread without a human action, (such as running an infected program) to keep it going. People continue the spread of a computer virus, mostly unknowingly, by sharing infecting files or sending e-mails with viruses as attachments in the e-mail.

A worm is a program or algorithm that replicates itself. A worm has the capability to travel without any help from a person from PC to PC and have ability to replicate itself on your system, so rather than your computer sending out a single worm, it could send out hundreds or thousands of copies of itself, creating a huge devastating effect.

A Trojan Horse is a destructive program that "working" as a benign application ( (like changing your desktop, adding silly active desktop icons) or can cause serious damage by deleting files and destroying information on your system. Trojans are also known to create a back door on your computer that gives malicious users access to your system, possibly allowing confidential or personal information to be compromised. Trojans do not reproduce by infecting other files nor do they self-replicate.

Added into the mix, we also have what is called a blended threat. Blended threats combine the characteristics of viruses, worms, Trojan Horses, and malicious code with server and Internet vulnerabilities. By using multiple methods and techniques, blended threats can rapidly spread and cause widespread damage. Characteristics of blended threats include: causes harm, propagates by multiple methods, attacks from multiple points, and exploits vulnerabilities. This combination of method and techniques means blended threats can spread quickly and cause widespread damage. Characteristics of blended threats include: causes harm, propagates by multiple methods, attacks from multiple points and exploits vulnerabilities. They are considered to be the worst risk to security since the inception of viruses, as most blended threats require no human intervention to propagate.

Therefore is very important to protect your PC with a good anti-virus software installed on your system with the latest fixes for new viruses, worms, and Trojan horses.

Additionally, you want to make sure your anti-virus program has the ability to scan e-mail and files as they are downloaded from the Internet.
Every one of us knows how spam impacts us. Every day we either get a ton of spam - or if we're fairly well protected by spam filters - only a few pieces.

Like a large number of people, I don't use any spam filters. Ah. You think I'm insane. But wait. My problem is that I get a lot of email from marketing types which I want to receive. And the spam filtering software is not very sensitive to my needs. Even white-listing doesn't always work. So, I prefer to get all that spam and just delete it.

Now this solution can work for me despite the time it takes to delete my daily overdose of spam. However, at the enterprise level, it's a whole different story. If you have a relatively large internal network with even a modest number of email users, you're looking at a major problem. And the more users you have, the worse the problem is.

Sure, you can put up software on the mail server. Works, kind of. But pretty soon you may find you need to upgrade the mail server. And that's after you already put it on a stand-alone machine.

Rather than continuing to buy ever more expensive software to run on a machine that keeps needing to be upgraded, you might want to think about a dedicated anti spam appliance.

To give you some idea of what's possible let's take a look at Barracuda Networks dedicated anti spam appliance. All you need to do is put this baby in front of your mail server. I say baby, advisedly because this one will learn by doing and by training provided by your users.

Bayesian filtering is still one of the most accurate defenses against spam. The new plug-ins allow users to directly train the Bayesian filter, making the Barracuda Spam Firewall even more accurate based on the users individual email preferences. Viruses and other threats can infect the network quickly if they are not stopped at the network edge. With Intent Analysis our customers have an advantage over these threats because the Barracuda Spam Firewall is able to block them real time. Consequently we have consistently been a first responder when some of the most malicious virus attacks have hit, saving our customers from potentially devastating damage to their networks.

This is one beautiful little machine. A Barracuda Spam Firewall can support from 1,000 to 30,000 active users. It can usually be installed in less than five minutes and receives automatic hourly updates for new forms of spam and viruses. It has a 10 layer defense system beyond the use of open source anti spam and anti virus solutions: denial of service and security protection, IP block list, rate control, virus check with archive decompression, proprietary virus check, user specified rules, spam fingerprint check, Intent Analysis, spam rule-based scoring, and Bayesian analysis. Plus it also does both inbound and outbound email filtering with the inclusion of sophisticated outbound email filtering techniques (just in case you've got a spam zombie on board or somebody's got an infected PC).

However, it isn't exactly cheap. Still, when you consider the time, bandwidth, user frustration and potential hardware upgrade costs, the price may look a lot more reasonable.
If you are in the market for an anti-spam appliance, the Barracuda Spam Firewall isn't your only choice. The impact of spam on internet businesses - even those who primarily use it for just email - is so great that a simple search for "anti spam appliance" will find you a number of alternatives to examine. Even McAfee is getting into the anti spam hardware game.

I'm hoping that it won't be too long before I can pick up a Bayesian multi-level anti spam, anti virus firewall appliance for my home PC that keeps me safe and cuts my need to delete without deep-sixing the email I want or costing me more than I can afford. I suspect it's on the way.

--
www.infozabout.com
www.antispam.infozabout.com

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

Be Careful with Social Network Invite E-Mails

Nowadays, many of us receive e-mail invitations to join social networking websites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, or MySpace. These services make it easy for members to send out invitation emails complete with response links, and it is in their best interests to do so - as more friends sign up, these sites register higher visits and page views, potentially leading to increased advertising income.

While only a few well-known social networking sites used to exist, this number has skyrocketed, resulting in many more invitations in your e-mail Inbox. Even if you know the sender and name of a social network to which you've been invited, before you click on an invitation response link, take a second and consider that not all invitation e-mails are what they seem. Some fraudulent "friends" and "social networks" could have drastic consequences to your security and privacy:

1) Make sure the invite link actually goes to the social network website and not somewhere else trying to "phish" for your personal information! It's better to copy and paste URLs into your web browser instead of clicking invite links, as there are many sneaky tricks to hide the true web addresses in e-mail messages.

Even when you copy and paste URLs into a web browser, before actually visiting the websites, look in the browser's address bar for any text such as "redirect" or "goto". These may be signs of someone trying to redirect you to a nefarious website.

For example, imagine getting the following link inside an e-mail message for a hypothetical "Google Social Networking Service":

http://translate.google.com/translate?u=stopbadware.org&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&sl=es&tl=en

Since the e-mail claims to be from "Google", and the web address contains "google.com", this will take you to a page on Google's website, right? If you visit the above link you will go somewhere else...

This misdirection link was just an example and fairly easy to detect. Real spam e-mails use lots of other tricks for obfuscating (hiding) true web addresses. Instead of copying and pasting links, it may prove even safer to just visit website homepages directly, skipping invitation links, and then asking senders to be re-invited as their friend.

2) Do you know the person sending the invite? Do you know the name of the social networking site? If you've never heard of neither, there's a high probability the site or the member is spamming. Sign up to the site and be placed on the user's "friend" list and your mailbox may be subjected to all sorts of unsolicited e-mail.

Just as responding to junk e-mail alerts spambots that your e-mail address is active, responding to junk social networking requests does the same thing.

If you do know the friend but not the social networking site, what's wrong with sending a quick e-mail to your friend and asking them if their invite was legitimate? If it was, no big deal, but if it wasn't, you might have alerted your friend to a problem they need to fix on their end.

3) Nefarious websites may be breeding grounds for spyware distribution. Visit the website with the wrong browser and/or wrong software installed, and your computer may become infected.

Think your computer, even with antivirus and anti-spyware software installed, cannot be infected? These software packages may be installed on your system, and the wrong version combined with a 0-day exploit (a previously-unknown bug that has not been patched) can allow spyware / malware to be installed (this is not an exhaustive list):

Internet Explorer
Macromedia Flash
Mozilla Firefox
Opera
QuickTime for Windows
RealPlayer
Safari
Shockwave
Windows Media Player
... And the list goes on.

4) When you access the social networking website, does it ask questions such as the following during the signup process?

* Social Security Number (a big NO-NO!)

* Name and password to another e-mail account so the site can notify all your contacts to join the social network (or nefarious sites can use your account to send e-mail spam to all your contacts UNDER YOUR NAME!)

* Mother's Maiden Name (while legitimate networks may ask this for a "Security Question", I would not provide it. This is one type of information miscreants can use to possibly get more information about yourself or sign up for credit or other offers in your name).

* Credit Card or Bank Account Number (unless it's a LEGITIMATE SITE, you know it's not a phishing site, and you're signing up for subscription/premium services, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER PROVIDE THIS INFORMATION! This can cost you money, time, aggravation, and your credit rating.)

These are just four techniques nefarious social networks and/or members can use to violate your privacy, cost you time and money, and possibly harm your credit rating. While I'm not saying you should never join social networks, just be a little careful when you get invitations. Know who is sending you the invite and the legitimacy of the social network. Confirm the invite and visit the social network's homepage directly. Plus, never provide too much information when signing up.
Every time you take your car in for an oil change, most shops give you a 15- or 30-point checkup when they change your oil to alert you to any other potential problems you might experience in the future. In the same way that your mechanic conducts a regular inspection of your automobile, you need to conduct an annual checkup of your website.

Copyright notice. For more detail go to: www.greateducationonline.com. In years past it would take me until March or April to update my copyright notices primarily because I had to go in and update every single page of my site. More recently, however, I've used an includes file, which is one file that can be inserted in many pages to hold my copyright and contact info. Consequently, when I need to update the copyright info, I open this one file in my HTML editor, update that file, save and upload it. Once it's revised, the new information miraculously appears on all the pages in which it's included, updating them all at once.

Opt-in forms. The beginning of each year is a great time to ensure that all of the opt-in forms are working on your site. Do you need to add additional fields to the opt-in form to collect mailing addresses, for example, or to ask how visitors found your site? Is the information contained on your confirmation page (the page to which a visitor is sent upon her initial request to opt into your list) still current and relevant? How about the thank you page (the page to which your visitor is sent when she has confirmed her desire to join your list)?

Autoresponder follow-up. Next, review the content of the autoresponder that you've set to follow up the opt-in. Are they still current?
For more detail go to:: www.greatindustrialguide.com. Do they mention offers or upsell that are still available? Do you need to update any copyright or contact information contained within them? Are they making it through spam filters? Use this tool to ensure that every email gets into your contact's inbox, Spam Check from Site Sell,.

Signature files. Does your email signature file contain a call to action that's still working for you, or does it need to be updated? Have you changed any portion of your contact information? After you review your signature files in your email client, does the same check of your email signature file in your shopping cart program or autoresponder program?

Client attraction device. Take a look at the free giveaway you provide to your visitors in return for them opting into your list. Whether it's a document or an audio or video file, update the copyright and content information in it and review any biographical/profile information that you list about yourself or your business. Is the content you provide in this giveaway still valid and current? Do you want to keep the current call to action, or does it need to be updated to better fit with your current business model?

--
www.the-spam-files.com
www.your-garening-tip.com

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

How to get ripped off by online money making scams.

Getting ripped off is something that I have mastered over the past few years. There has been hundreds of ways that I have found but only a dozen or so actually have convinced me to shell out my hard earned cash. What a disappointment. For the small price of usually around $50 or so, I learned the so called secrets of making an online fortune. Make a website and advertise it! $50 for that garbage. They gave me about half a novel to read before I learned that so called, secret. That is just one example of how to get ripped off online.
There are other ways to get ripped off, but online money making scams are by far my favourite. Another one was filling out online surveys. Basically I was paying a monthly fee of $19.95 to get access to a list of other websites that were just links to online surveys. They promised me the world. Easy work for about $75 per hour filling out surveys and just giving my opinion about whatever crap they wanted me too. The only problem with that is none of the surveys actually paid cash. All of them just offered points to be earned and spent towards crappy merchandise that had no practical use to me what so ever. Another thing about surveys that bothered me was the fact that I was giving out my personal information online to dozens of survey companies every day. I gave up on that scam about 2 weeks after I started it, not a penny earned and now I was and still am getting at least 5 marketing phone calls everyday. Not only did I get scammed but I explained in detail how to contact me at home.
Referrals. Garbage. I paid another $50 to learn that there are forums out there where people pay other people to sign up for some free offers. You have probably seen enough of those things out there, sign up, do a free offer, get seven other people to do this, get a free iPod or whatever other garbage they have to entice you. This is such a complete scam because the forums are full of jerks that are more than willing to rip off the newbies. I completed my first offer for someone that said they were going to give me $20 for doing it. Not too bad for ten minutes work right? Nope I had to send him an email every week for about 3 months before he deleted his account and I was unable to contact him. This happened 3 times before I quit that particular method of wasting my time and money. Another thing that bothered me about this was the fact that not only was I giving out my personal info to whatever company I had to, but I was also giving out my credit card number. Yeah, I know, I’m dumb. Anyways after I noticed the first $100 that was stolen from my card I had to cancel it.
There are many more ways to lose your money online but there are just a few of the hundreds that I have discovered and been ripped off by. So if you want to find out for yourself, go right ahead, but if you want to know more then check out sample13.com, where I explain exactly what does not work. I can also tell you about the best programs too.

--
Justin G. Has been an unsuccessful online marketer for the past two years. Only within the past month has he found out what works and is willing to share the secret that he paid $77 for, for free at sample13.com.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com
