The Byetta is a synthetic drug. It is a variant of a natural hormone found in the saliva of Gila monster. The Gila is a venomous lizard exists in Southwestern United States and upper Mexico. It has been found that the Gila's hormone is 50% identical to glucagon-like peptide-1 or GLP-1.

GLP-1 is a hormone is plentiful in the human digestive track and increases insulin production when blood sugar levels become very high. Even though Gila's hormone last longer and is more effective than human's, Byetta is still effective on diabetes patients.

When taken by the human body, Byetta insulin along with blood glucose control works in many ways. It helps the pancreas' response after meal, it suppresses pancreatic release of glucagon while eating, it slows down gastric emptying, it reduces liver fat content and it reduces appetite.

Byetta is taken by injection with a pen, which is used to penetrate the skin. Instructions on how to use the pen are provided by the doctor or pharmacist. Normally, the injection is in the stomach, upper thigh, or upper arm.

These are some of the precautions to take with Byetta: 1. use only as directed by the doctor and label instructions. 2. do not use after meals. 3. use the pen only for yourself. 4. use drug only until the expiration date. 5. don't take the medication with any type of alcohol. 6. let the doctor know of any nutrients you are taking.

Even though Byetta has helped with diabetes, it has had some unwanted Byetta side effects. During 2007, the FDA made a warning after 30 patients suffered pancreatitis. Of these patients, 22 improved after not use Byetta, 5 had kidney complications, and 21 were hospitalized. In some cases the symptoms of patients worsen when the Byetta dose was increased.

The ensuing link between pancreatitis and Byetta has caused a great deal of concern among diabetics. The severity of the case varies; however, patients most often require hospitalization for its treatment, which includes pain management, and fluid and electrolyte stabilization. There are also cases that required surgery and other invasive measures. In addition, other worse complications develop such as shock, respiratory complications, high blood sugar, dehydration, kidney failure, hemorrhage. Other Byetta Side effects are diarrhea, heartburn, weight loss, nausea, dizziness, and vomiting.

Some people are using this drug for weight loss. But no studies have shown that it is effective for this losing weight. This idea is that Byetta works as appetite suppressant while causing feeling of fullness. Medical professionals points out that Byetta has never been approved as a diet aid. Byetta's side effects and safety is not yet been established to those who are not diabetic, and yet consuming the drug.

If you decide you do not want to use this drug, consult with your doctor. But, if you were admitted to the hospital because of this drug, you may want to seek legal counsel. The Hydroxycut that is available in the market today is a reformulated herbal supplement that replaced the original Hydroxycut Ephedra diet pills. The herb ephedra was banned by the Food and Drug Authority a few years ago.

After the banning of the original Hydroxycut Ephedra pills, Lovate Health Sciences, the manufacturer of the herbal supplement, released several variations of the new formula. Among them was the Hydroxycut Hardcore, which was marketed heavily as a bodybuilder's supplement.

In May 2009, FDA issued a health advisory regarding Hydroxycut's potential health problems, despite the drug's positive reviews. Many believe that the new version of Hydroxycut did not reduce its side effects.

The controversy started when there were reports of liver damage associated with the drug's consumption. The situation got worse when a 19 year old man died after taking Hydroxycut Ephedra. Following to this incidence, Lovate Health Sciences made a massive recall on its products.

The health complications linked to Hydroxycut vary from one person to another. Nonetheless, most patients were reported to suffer from cardiovascular problems, seizures, insomnia and rhabdmyolysis, a degeneration of the skeletal muscle.

Both men and women experienced dangerously low levels of liver enzymes and kidney failure as a result of rhabdomyolysis. While indeed the manufacturers listed on Hydroxycut's label some of its possible effects, its severe adverse reactions in some of the consumers were far more dangerous.

The side effects listed for the new Hydroxycut were increased sweating, high blood pressure, loss of appetite and restlessness. Since then, many people started to use Hydroxycut less and less.

Lovate Health Sciences made known to the public the ingredients of Hydroxycut, which included several herbal extracts, fat burners, metabolism boosters and nutrition supplements. Just after the recall, the manufacturer attempted to remove the harmful ingredient that may have caused all the dangerous side effects among consumers.

FDA investigation showed that the ingredients that needed change was Hydroxycitric acid and thus, banned the product. Few months following the ban, Lovate Health Sciences released a new version called Hydroxycut Advanced.

This herbal product was given a marketing propaganda similar to its predecessor. While Lovate informed the public that Hydroxycut Advanced did not contain the ingredients present in the banned version, there were reports that many consumers experienced side effects including insomnia, depression, and acute anxiety.

As of this moment, Lovate is in the middle of facing lawsuits filed by millions of users who have taken Hydroxycut over the last seven-years. While it may be true that only a few have experienced severe health complications, the side effects experienced by the majority may compromise their health in the years to come.

Because Angiosarcoma is a rare type of cancer, so the history of the patient is important to know during diagnosis. The usual ways a patient develops Angiosarcoma are through exposure to vinyl chloride when working in vinyl chloride factories, beauty shops, and other plastics industries. Less common cause is the high dose of ionizing radiation like radiation therapy. People who are exposed to these carcinogens are more likely to develop the aggressive cancer.

The advanced Angiosarcoma typically found in the skin, bone, and surrounding tissues is obviously easier to diagnose. Symptoms could be one of the following:

Bone pain
Swelling or lump under the skin
Skin lesions
Stabbing pains or dull aches
Fatigue
Anemia
Reduction of red blood cells

The internal Angiosarcomas are not easily diagnosed and the tumors often grow and spread out to other organs rapidly. And once the tumors are developed, they are very difficult to treat.

Factors that may have caused angiosarcoma include:

Radiotherapy
Chronic lymphedema (or radical mastectomy)
Foreign objects retained in the body (like plastic, steel, shrapnel, and Dacron vascular prosthesis)
Environmental toxins:
Arsenic solutions that are sprayed on grapevines
Thorotrast (contrast agent that emits radiation)
Vinyl chloride (commercial chemical used in plastic and rubber industry)

Angiosarcoma prognosis is often poor because symptoms do not appear early or not specific. However, the earlier angiosarcoma was diagnosed, the faster and more effective the treatment would be. The end result could be a better prognosis.

Here some factors that affect the diagnosis:

Tumor size is often larger than what it shown externally.
Treatments like chemotherapy sometimes cause development of angiosarcoma.
Primary site of tumor may assist the disease to spread to other parts.

MRI test findings help present involvement of neurovascular structures and extension of soft tissue.
Bone scan helps form differential diagnosis with multifocal bone processes and multiple myeloma (or cell histiocytosis).

Cutaneous angiosarcoma

CT scan helps identify disease on head and neck.
MRI shows extent of bone and soft tissue involvement.

Prognosis of the disease becomes good when the tumor is limited to a primary site. It is known as malignant and aggressive but treatment options include:

Surgical resection
Radiotherapy
Chemotherapy
Medication with angiogenesis inhibitor

Hemangiosarcoma is a sarcoma that is very aggressive. It is very dangerous because it affects the blood vessels. A victim will bleed to death if the blood-filled vessel ruptures. The cells that are cancerous spread very quickly through the body affecting other healthy systems. Any condition that has an effect on the blood is very detrimental to a person\'s life. Angiosarcoma is destructive and it is very likely the condition will return making the cancer difficult to treat.

An angiosarcoma called lymphangiosarcoma is a tumor cell that comes from the endothelial cells of the lymphatic vessels. The lymph system\'s job is to distribute antibodies to the body. Any time the process is disrupted by these cancer cells it can spreads these deadly cells throughout the body.

Usually angiosarcoma is found in the soft tissue and the skin. However, it can start in other parts of the body such as:

Breast

A more common type of angiosarcoma, called cutaneous angiosarcoma is located in the neck and head of elderly people.

It is not known what causes angiosarcomas. Stewart – Treves syndrome is a hemangiosarcoma and it is connected with exposure to toxins. Toxins such as:

Vinyl chloride
Arsenic

This Stewart – Treves syndrome is caused by lymphedema occurring after breast cancer treatments like mastectomy and radiation. People are at higher risks of angiosarcoma if they have been exposed to vinyl chloride. Plastic industries use vinyl chloride during the manufacturing of polyvinyl chloride. Exposure of these toxins occurred 30 years ago but the conditions still arise. These types of angiosarcoma are harmful to the body. The aggressive condition is multicentric. The reoccurrence of these conditions are exceptionally high. It also spreads through your body at a rapid speed. This condition can be fatal and many times is misdiagnosed. It is not easy to treat this destructive tumor because the common therapies for cancer like chemotherapy do not work.

Researchers are doing thousand of studies all over the world about the tumor suppressor gene, P53. This gene is in the cells of the angiosarcoma of the liver. The p53 gene and all the molecules around it is what primarily researchers are focusing on.

Beauty has a way of bringing feelings of jealousy or envy to the surface, for some people. The response a person has to feeling that rise up within themselves depends on their level of maturity and poise. But being beautiful is not something that should be punished, or ever used as an excuse to shun somebody for. But people who are very attractive encounter some type of jealous reaction on a daily basis. Beautiful people also enjoy numerous perks and treats because of the way they look, so in some ways it seems to balance out.

Confidence is another enviable trait that triggers jealous retaliation from others. Confidence is not always associated with beauty or good looks. It usually has nothing to do with the way a person looks at all. Ironically, the more beautiful a person is, it seems the more self conscious and unsure of themselves, they are. True confidence comes from within a person in response to the feeling of peace and happiness they have with themselves and their accomplishments.

Arrogance is confidence in its distorted state. It is not beautiful or enviable, but it does breed jealousy and envy in similar ways. A person who works hard to accomplish their goals is usually building up their confidence every time they see their efforts pay off. For someone who consistently meets goals, and is successful, confidence comes easy and they get used to it. They get used to being told how great they are. They get used to being praised and encouraged, and they get used to enjoying special privileges. The special treatment they get and the all the extra attention they get, triggers their confidence to morph into arrogance.

There is a very fine line between confidence and arrogance. But it is one that is worth walking because of the hard work it took to get there. Sometimes balance is hard to negotiate and we stray into the area of arrogance. When this happens there is really nothing that can be done about how it will be interpreted by others. As long as you are not purposely setting out to make others feel bad, and not doing anything to compromise who you are; go ahead and walk the line.

As a Solicitor I hear every excuse under the sun as to why people aren't making a will. The most common (and difficult to understand) is the belief that "once we make our Wills we will die". Making a Will does not bring forward mortality it just means that you will be putting your affairs in order when you do eventually die.

Other reasons people come up with are:-

" We do not have time to begin making a Will. Making a Will is very simple and can be extremely quick and easy. There is no need to put it off because of lack of time. Wills can be prepared very quickly and efficiently by Solicitors. Alternatively there are solutions for online Wills which are very cheap and easy to use.
" We cannot afford to start making a Will. It is not expensive making a Will. Solicitors usually charge about £100.00 - £150.00 for mirror Wills. Alternatively online Wills can be obtained as cheaply as £30.00 plus vat.
" We don't have anyone to leave our money to. Most people can think of someone to leave their money to even if it is a distant relative. Alternatively people making a Will can leave their money to charities which is better than leaving money to the Crown (the ultimate recipient) where people do not make Wills and there are absolutely no beneficiaries.
" We don't have any money. Most people do have money or assets which justify making a will. People often forget the value of their properties. It is important to remember that where people die without making a Will their assets and money do not always go to the people they believe will benefit.

As from 1 February 2009 the statutory legacy (being the amount passing to a surviving spouse on the first death is £250,000.00 where there are children and £450,000.00 where there are no children). The surviving spouse only receives a life interest in the balance.
