Hidden Perks of a Hidden TV

Submitted by hiddentvexpert

The idea of owning a hidden TV may not have occurred to you before. After all, many people want their TV to be a major focus point. There are lots of hidden perks of owning a hidden TV, though.

Among other things, TV sets that are built into furniture pieces take up much less space when they aren't in use. They are also great topics of conversation. There's nothing quite like having friends come over and hitting a button and having a TV pop out and surprise everyone.

If you have kids, though, being able to conceal the TV can become a matter of family control. As we all know, kids these days can get easily engrossed in the television. If your kids need to do homework, need to go to bed or are just being punished for something, hiding the TV can be very handy. You can simply put the TV away with the click of a button, unlike a normal set.

Along those same lines, pet owners should invest in hidden TV sets, too. If you have pets, especially large, energetic dogs, you might find that things around your house get broken on a regular basis, especially when you are not home. If you use a TV lift system, you can stow the TV away when you go out, making it impossible for your pets to break the TV.

So, although the idea of hiding a TV may sound odd. It can be very helpful when you aren't watching the set. It can be a space saver, ensure quality time with family and make sure the kids get plenty of rest at night. It might sound like something out of a high tech movie, but it is actually reality in many homes. Why not make yours one of them?
