Retirement Apartments

My parents were finding it hard to live in their 5 bedroom house on their own with all of us gone now. The 5 bedroom house was to big for them to keep tidy and the stairs was taking all the energy out of my parents. So we took the action of finding them a retirement property after along chat with them.

We started searching for retirement homes and come across a couple of websites website which was very friendly and easy to use.

After we started chatting to them one company was more interested in the well being and welfare of my parents (in the resource box).

They matched my parents with the most suitable property based upon my parents means and requirements. Once we have informed them of our requirements we were kept up to date with all the suitable properties as they become available.

They informed my parents once a week by letter and by email which i believe is excellent as my parents really wanted to start relaxing and enjoy their retirement.

Eventually a few properties were found which met my parents requirements and we arranged a visit. They were all very local properties to where my parents wanted to be. They fell in love with small but spacious property in the town of Weston-S-Mare on the beach front.

All the rent includes the service charge, ground rent and maintenance, which includes the cost of the House Manager, 24 hour emergency Care line, the upkeep and cleaning of common areas; the upkeep of the external areas, including the gardens, external window cleaning; lift maintenance; insurance of the building.

My parents now have more money to spend and our enjoying their retirement life a lot more and my kids now love their near the beach.

Overall i was very pleased with the process of finding them a retirement property and i am now glad they are happy.
