Rule #1: Set Goals
Begin by setting goals. Make sure that these are realistic and attainable. Get a physical assessment and determine the measurements of your waist, weight and other vital statistics. Look at yourself in front of a mirror, then determine which areas you would like to improve on. You should try to aim and lose 1 inch per month or 1 pound of fat per week. At first, the losses will be faster, but progress may slow down as your overall body fat levels get lower. Write down your goals specifically in a log or notebook and check how close you are to these. You should adjust your goals every week or month, depending on your performance. There are several methods to reach your objectives, so indicate these steps as well. Rule #2: Start Today Stop telling yourself to begin tomorrow or next week. You can make the slightest changes right now and feel good about yourself. Skipping that bar of chocolate or going for a 20-minute walk after dinner can make big changes if you stay consistent for the long term. You need to stop procrastinating and get on an exercise program right away. Start configuring your diet, rest and fitness program now and get on it immediately. Rule #3: Find an Inspiration Determine your reasons for wanting to get rid of dangerous stomach fat. It may be because you want to look better to your partner, or just want to boost your self-confidence. You need to get a workout buddy who will encourage you to stick to your workout plans and diet regimen. The person should be consistent as well, so the two of you benefit by pushing each other to reach your ideal physiques. Look at fitness magazines, meditate or try to think of the bully at school or at work and start making progress. Rule #4: Don't Quit It takes time, consistency and dedication to really achieve the best shape of your life. You will find that as your body fat gets lower, it will be harder and more painful to get rid of the remaining ones. You need to change up your routine every now and then to keep things exciting and new. The most important thing is that you never quit, or else you will just go back to starting point.
