Male Yeast Infection Is A Disease That Is Not Very Common

Submitted by P.Rodgers

Yeast infection is merely an overgrowth of yeast in or on the body, and it is able to affect ANY part of the human body. In fact yeast infections can occur in a number of different places like the mouth, the underarms, between the toes, and any other place on your body that might serve as a good breeding ground for the bacteria that forms the yeast.

Yeast infections can be stubborn due to the fact that damp tends to linger and seep down into the lower regions of the body. You are more likely to get a yeast infection if your body is under stress from lack of sleep, poor diet or illness.

Well, to start with it should be affirmed that the cause of yeast infection is not one but there are many ranging from any form of stress in life to hormonal variations and yet through sexual intercourse. What occurs to cause chronic yeast infection is the yeast that can form roots or spores, forms spores and the body has no way to fight the spores.

Recurring yeast infections or chronic yeast infection is not only annoying but it can also put you at risk of other illnesses like diabetes and chronic urinary tract infection. Because yeast infections thrive in moist, warm environments, you can also reduce your chronic yeast infection issues by wearing loose clothing and 100% cotton underwear. Certain soaps, clothing, and improper diet can also cause infection.

If you think you may have a yeast infection, but have never had one before, it is a good idea to see a health-care professional the first time to be diagnosed correctly before trying an over-the-counter treatment. While yeast infections tend to be minor health problems, the symptoms can be uncomfortable and embarrassing. Most men do not realize that they are suffering from male yeast infection unless they experience symptoms which affect their health. Symptoms of male yeast infection are :

Itching or burning at the head of the penis
Red rash on the penis
The skin of penis can get cracked and become extremely painful
Constipation
Bad breath
Bloating
Indigestion
Frequent intestinal gas
Frequent diarrhea
Sexual dysfunction
Irritability and mood swings
Fatigue or lack of energy
Prostate problems

Although symptoms are bothersome and can cause severe discomfort, yeast infections rarely lead to serious health problems. Most yeast infections can be treated with over-the-counter antifungal (local) medications, but it's recommended you consult a health care professional before trying anything.

Dietary Changes

Dietary changes you can make to significantly reduce your risk of developing a yeast infection. Yeast infection diets can surprisingly go a long way in preventing and curing yeast infections. A well-balanced diet with plenty of fibre can be the best preventative medicine. If you are in any way uncertain, consult a health care provider to modify your diet and/or treat this condition directly with an effective, all natural yeast infection control product.
