Shiny, Glossy Hair Could Be Yours

Hair that is glossy and shiny always looks great. Shiny hair is generally associated with healthy hair, so if you hair is a in a good condition and your health is in check, you could add a few finishing touches for a glossier mane.

If you follow an unhealthy lifestyle of smoking, drinking and eating junk food, chances are the signs are showing up in your hair. Make an effort to follow a healthy lifestyle and your hair (and skin and nails for that matter) will look in better condition, naturally.

Dull hair can also be caused by the food you are eating. Avoid anything in a box, as that kind of food is often processed and very bad for your skin and hair. Try to include more fresh fruit and vegetables in your daily diet. Avoid fizzy drinks, excess coffee and caffeine. Avoid deep fried food and rather opt to bake or grill your dishes. And remember to drink at least eight glasses of water a day.

If you color your hair, remember that the hair dying process strips the hair, which often results in dull hair. Boost your colored hair's shine by using products that have been specially formulated to treat and protect color-treated hair.

Avoid washing your hair every day as you will dry your hair out, therefore making it look dull and dreary. If you hair is very greasy and needs daily washing, speak to your hairdresser about a product that can help combat oiliness, or again, look to your nutrition as this could be the cause of your greasy hair.

Condition your hair when you wash and treat it to an intense, repairing masque at least once a week. When applying conditioner, never apply to the roots as this will only make your hair more greasy.

Flat iron your hair after it has dried and ensure you are using heat resistant protectants before you iron. Keeping the hair cuticles flat will help to reflect the light, making your hair appear sleeker and shinier.

Lastly, you can apply a small amount of hair silicone to your hair after you have styled it. Place a small amount in the palm of your hand and rub your palms together. Then, work the product through your hair using your fingers. Remember to avoid the roots.

--
Visit Susan's website A 2 Z of Health and Beauty for information on health and beauty, nutrition, fitness, skin care, weight loss and more.

This article can be freely used as long as a link to "A 2 Z of Health and Beauty" (http://health.learninginfo.org) is provided.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

How to Choose a Handbag

Handbags are not just for carrying your most must-have items; they are huge players in the fashion game and can make or break your outfit.

When putting a look together, your handbag is key: the look, the style, the color and the type of handbag all matter. Think of it as your very own arm candy. Choosing the right bag means finding one that compliments your outfit, not one that just fades away.

Just like a great pear of jeans, your choice of handbag needs to fit your body type. If you're more voluptuous, a slouchy oversized bag may make you appear rounder, whereas if you are tall and skinny a long rectangular bag may make you look even taller and narrower.

The key, according to fashion experts, is to choose a bag that is the opposite of your body shape. You also need to ensure that your handbag is in proportion to your body. The last thing you want is a handbag that appears lost or overpowering.

There is an old saying that your handbag, shoes and belt all need to be the same color. This is a falsity; they don't have to be identical. The main thing is to have items that match the overall look. Put it all together and have a look in the mirror; if it looks out of place, chances are it is. The most important thing is to ensure your look blends in together. Don't go for a mixed up style that's all over the place. Keep it clean, simple and sexy.

--
Visit Susan's website A 2 Z of Health and Beauty for information on health and beauty, nutrition, fitness, skin care, weight loss and more.

This article can be freely used as long as a link to "A 2 Z of Health and Beauty" (http://health.learninginfo.org) is provided.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

Hairstyles for Your Face Shape

Choosing a hairstyle can be a fun and often scary process. With so many styles to choose, how do you know which one is right for you? The shape of your face is a great indicator as to what style will suit you the most.

Look to your Hollywood inspirations for styles that suit you, but remember to follow the stars who have the same face shape as you and you will be set to having gorgeous, Hollywood hair that looks like it was made for you.

There are five basic face shapes. These are: square, round, oval, heart and long face shapes. This article will help you identify which shapes A-list celebs have and give you some guidance on what you should go for and also what you should avoid.

THE SQUARE FACE

If your face is shaped like Jennifer Aniston, Paris Hilton, Jessica Simpson or Hillary Swank, you've got a square face. A square face is generally categorized by a strong, defined jaw, much like your celebrity look-alike.

When choosing a hairstyle to suit your square face, you should aim for one that will take the emphasis away from your jaw. A great way to do this is to opt for hairstyles that have texture and layers. Choppy and uneven ends that frame your face are great options for this face shape. So are side-swept bangs. Curls in varying positions also look great on this face shape.

Avoid hairstyles that end on your jawline as these will define your jaw. Remember "the Rachel" hairstyle worn by Jennifer Aniston in Friends? This one is a great option for shorter hair and works wonders for square faces.

THE ROUND FACE

Celebrities with a round face include Cameron Diaz, Kate Bosworth, Kate Hudson and Katherine Zeta Jones.

When choosing a hairstyle to suit your round face, aim to keep the face balanced. You want to keep the face clean and free from fringes and very choppy, blunt bangs. Try to keep the volume of the hair surrounding your face as minimal as possible, as you don't want to accentuate your roundness.

A great hairstyle for a round face is to have long bangs, swept to the side that cover the forehead.

THE OVAL FACE

When it comes to oval faces, famous faces that come to mind include Cindy Crawford, Hayden Panettiere, Jessica Alba and Gwyneth Paltrow.

This face shape is probably the easiest to style because it will suit most hairstyles. Depending on your individual tastes, you can have long or short hair options. Try to avoid styles that add too much height to your head, as these will make your face seem out of proportion.

Play with sexy bobs, long and loose curls and choppy bangs as these styles look fabulous on you.

THE HEART-SHAPED FACE

The distinct feature that defines this face shape is the cute, pointy chin much like celebrities such as Michelle Pfeiffer, Reese Witherspoon, Victoria Beckham and Natalie Portman. All these celebs have what is known as a heart-shaped face, because when you look at it, the point chin resembles a heart.

With this type of face shape you want to draw attention away from your chin in the center, therefore avoid straight cut fringes, which will define your chin. You can play with many options, including side-swept bangs and try them out in different positions. These will finish off your look nicely and take the emphasis off your chin.

Play with soft, wispy layers that start just under your cheekbone, or if you have long hair, longer layers are very flattering for this face shape.

THE LONG FACE

If your face is long like Anne Hathaway, Penelope Cruz, Lindsay Lohan and Liv Tyler you should try to avoid plain Jane hairstyles. Instead of parting your hair in the middle, opt for side partings and avoid straight cut styles as these will make your face look longer.

Create fullness at the top and then have sexy layers, at varying lengths to finish this look off. Romantic, loose curls look great with this face shape.

--
Visit Susan's website A 2 Z of Health and Beauty for information on health and beauty, nutrition, fitness, skin care, weight loss and more.

This article can be freely used as long as a link to "A 2 Z of Health and Beauty" (http://health.learninginfo.org) is provided.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

Fragrances can make you feel fresh and even help you turn a few heads. Learn how to correctly apply fragrances for maximum scent effect.

FRAGRANCE DOS:

* Do choose a fragrance that suits you. Different fragrances will have a different affect on people, so before you go out and buy one that you like on your best friend, make sure you try it out on your own skin and see how your body chemistry reacts to it.

* Do change your perfume with the change of the season. In winter you may need a stronger scent as the cold may reduce the scent's power.

* Do shop for perfume in the afternoon when your sense of smell is at its peak.

* Do wear more fragrance if you have dry skin; you will need to apply fragrances more often than those who have oily skin.

* Do apply your perfume after you have showered and dried completely. After a shower or bath, your pores open up allowing the perfume to be soaked into your pores.

* Do apply perfume to your pulse points for maximum effect. Your pulse points include the inside of your wrists, at the temples, behind the knees, behind the ears, between the ankles, toes and thighs as well as in your cleavage.

FRAGRANCE DON'TS:

* Don't overdo it. Overpowering smells can make the people around you very uncomfortable and may even cause headaches.

* Don't spray perfume near pearls or costume jewelry. Because perfume is infused with alcohol it can strip these jewels and remove their coating.

* Don't combine perfume with deodorant or deodorant soap. The combination smell may be unpleasant.

* Don't buy perfume without testing it on your own skin first. Spray a little on your skin and wear it for a few hours to see how it reacts and also to determine how long it lasts.

--
Visit Susan's website A 2 Z of Health and Beauty for information on health and beauty, nutrition, fitness, skin care, weight loss and more.

This article can be freely used as long as a link to "A 2 Z of Health and Beauty" (http://health.learninginfo.org) is provided.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

Spray tans can provide the answer to the many people who desire the look of a beautiful tan avoiding the danger of a solarium or sun tan. Soaking up the sun is now in days past as it is no longer a carefree, fun activity. With more and more evidence of the damaging effects of the tanning beds and sun, there's much more to worry about when consider your tanning options.

When it comes to enjoying the beauty of wonderful, sunny beaches, you will likely be well aware that sun protection is crucial. Nonetheless, you, like many others, may associate this outdoor tan with beauty and health. The question has become how you might achieve the beauty benefits of the tan without the health hazards linked with the sun exposure. Tanning beds seemed to be the answer in the past, but now numerous studies have proven this exposure to be even more damaging.

For those wishing to avoid premature aging, scarring, skin irritations and even, skin cancer, our sunless tanning can provide the answer. Also, the time involved in the sunless tan is much less than that of tanning beds or sunlight. The sunless tanning process consists of using a spray containing dihydroxyacetone (DHA) which gives you the appearance of a beautiful tan. And when visiting our salon, you only need about ten minutes to complete your process.

During the spray tan, DHA is sprayed on your body in a fine mist. The DHA spray reacts with dead skin cells on the surface of the body. This reaction causes these skin cells to turn brown. Most tanners are absolutely delighted with the outcome of the spray. Great coverage and realistic results is reported by tanners. Most of these processes last around five to seven days before requiring reapplication.

Although sunless tanning is a somewhat new trend in beauty, it is increasingly gaining more popularity. As numerous tanning lotions or creams leave streaks or appear uneven, this creates a common misconception about the spray-on-tan.. This professional tanning process is far more perfected than that of the self-applied cosmetics and the results speak for themselves.

There are a lot of benefits of spay tans and listed below are three of the most often desired:

•	When you desire a bronzed skin tone, you can get one regardless of where in the world you live in or how cold it might be. Even if you reside in an area that is often cloudy, you can still experience the look of health and beauty that only a tan can achieve.
•	Our tanning appointment is easily worked to fit your schedule. As a matter of fact it's as simple as booking a nail or hair appointment and requires little advanced preparation whatsoever.
•	Spray tans require little hand contact and are very even and realistic. Tanners will not experience blotching or streaking associated with tanning products applied without the professional assistance of a salon.

There are a few tips we would like to provide for you in order to make your tanning experience with us as beneficial as possible. Before your appointment, you should always wax or shave at least 8 hours prior to your spray tan application. It is recommended you wear loose clothing (preferably dark) to reduce the materials and keep your clothing from staining in any way. In order to preserve your beautifully colored skin, it is advisable that you keep your bra off after the initial application. You should also be freshly showered and exfoliated before your appointment and wear no moisturizers, perfumes or deodorants. To make certain that your process gets through to your skin it is important that you are wearing no make up..

After tanning it is advisable that you avoid cooking over an open frying pan and do not shower for at least 6 to 8 hours after your tan application. This will allow time for the tan to develop. The darker your skin will be is dependant on the amount of time you leave the product on. After your product has developed to your desired level, you are free to shower as usual and may choose to apply one of our many tan savers.

As you can see, spray tans make the most sense for those desiring the beauty that only a bronzed skin can provide. Not only will you experience the security of knowing you are providing your skin protection from the risk of cancer, but you will also feel better about protecting your skin to prevent aging. In summation, the health and beauty benefit of our spray-on tan is a winning combination.

--
For more information or a great spray tan from professional spray tans booths talk to Spray Tans Gold Coast.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

Eventually the winter doldrums always give way to a pleasant but short transition into the seemingly never ending heat of summer. For some, the heat is as welcome as an old friend but for many, the sweltering heat of the is almost as unbearable as a Billy Ray Cyrus concert. If you're one of the people who worship the Sun Goddess then your summer months have been planned out for you since you were a young child. You'll be spending every possible minute soaking up the sun, sitting by the pool and listening to takes of Billy Ray and his achy breaky heart.

However, if you're one of those people who feel more at home in a Seattle rain storm then the apex of the equator you will most likely be jamming to Stevie Ray Vaughn's "Give me shelter" while hiding out two feet away from your 15,000 BTU air conditioner. The only bad part is, the summer months are the primary months for having fun and my friend, listening to the hum of your air conditioner may be an enjoyable break from the heat but it doesn't constitute fun! So what are you to do? Fun will not find you in the cold recesses of your living room! After all, fun loves the heat!

Well, since spent the time and money for airbrush tanning and to get that Mustang ready for the road you need to figure out what you can do to beat the heat and have fun at the same time. This is actually easier then you think. It's possible that you've forgone fun during the summer for so long that you'll find it impossible to find fun things to do but don't fret, it's absolutely possible.

Finding the night life is always a great way to beat the heat since the sun is usually going down before the interesting people are showing up. So, when the sun is at it's highest, you'll be nice in cool sleeping off last night's party. When it's time to wake up, you'll be ready to go out because the temperature will be going down. Also, think cool places. A vacation north is always a good way to beat the heat. Travel away from the equator and you'll find the summer months a bit more tolerable then previous years. Canada is always nice in the summer and in certain locations you can blend your new found love for the night life with the cooler temperatures of the great white north.

If it's just the heat that bothers you and not the glaring light of the sun then check outdoor water parks. You can keep cool in the water but still enjoy being outside. Most of the larger water parks have in-door facilities that will help to keep you cool.

With a little planning it's easy to have fun even if you are one of those people who would rather be located to a snowy town then overly sunny California. But if you're content in losing all of your friends when June rolls around it's also easy to turn yourself into an oversized snow cone by sitting right on top of your air conditioner. The choice is all yours!

--
Kim Green loves to start the summer with airbrush tanning to help get that perfect tan!

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

There are a variety of diverse oils one can use. Most professionals in the beauty and therapeutic business use some sort of vegetable oils, organic if at all possible, such as almond, olive or some even a high-quality grade of every-day vegetable oil, perhaps with a touch of Eucalyptus oil to enhance the therapeutic qualities..Football and sports clinics have been using this mixture for years with splendid results in therapeutic applications. But is there a better ready made massage oil people can buy? I've used a lot of special products during the years, but recently I've stumbled on a little beauty! Not only does it provide a great medium for massage but the oil contains a bombardment of essential oils which claim to have fantastic properties. Well eastern civilizations have used them for over 5000 years, so something must be right! The oil is produced in Australia and only the best ingredients are used. Mayaltha Better Slim Accelerator oil has the added benefit of helping reduce the effects of cellulite and smooth and refine both the skin and body contours. There are six pure essential oils in Mayaltha Better Slim Accelerator oil and is ideal for use in beauty clinics to by and large tone the body. Then again it's great to use at home or as a added supplement in the bath. Only a couple of drops are necessary.

For the greatest body sculpting effect I've found that if you massage into the legs, stomach and butt at night-time and leave on overnight the skin seems more refined and smooth. Better still get your partner to give a general relaxation massage with Mayaltha Better Slim Accelerator oil you'll both feel the benefit! The massage oil is packed with essential oils such as:
Geranium Oil which helps to stimulates circulation, and eliminate toxins from the body and helps to relieve excess fluid retention. There are also claims of antiseptic qualities.
Lemon Oil is known to assist the body in it's natural detoxification process and cleans the skin. Lemon Oil possesses natural antibacterial properties as well.
Vitamin E which is derived from the vegetable oil is a highly effective antioxidant that protects the skin and helps prevent the hardening of fatty cell membranes. It also encourages smooth firm skin and assists in wound healing and minimization of scars.
The plant-based Mayaltha slim accelerator body contour oil was developed to refine and smooth and lift your body contours and is suitable for both men and women. It's ideal for body builders or any-one who wants to improve the condition of your body.
The ingredients are not just shoddy and nasty and have six 100% pure essential oils. We all know how expensive they are! They include: Macadamia Nut Oil - which is known to protect, soothe, and moisturize the skin.
Ricinus Communis (Castor) Oil which absorbs, nourishes, moisturizes the body.
Lemon Oil - Tones, detoxifies, soothes.
Ylang Ylang Oil - Tones, regenerates, balances.
Geranium Oil - Stimulates, drains, tones
Rosemary Oil - Regenerates, revitalizes, moisturizes with regular use I've found that Mayaltha Better Slim Accelerator oil helps diminish the appearance of cellulite.
Firms and tones the body contours and helps to regain and maintain a lean, slim and refined silhouette. I've also found the active ingredients helps to erase unsightly blemishes and restore the skin to a smooth, firm and healthy condition. The Mayaltha Better Slim Accelerator oil also seems to assist in the skins natural curative process and the reduction of scars.
This is no poor quality and nasty massage oil and seems very beneficial to the skin and body. If you are looking to buy massage oil for your massage business or just to use at home this is definably one massage oil you should consider. If you want to get a bargain price Ebay is worth looking at. I recently bought a wholesale pack at 60% off the retail price and I've noticed one seller sells individual items at more then 50% off the retail price or even more
This oil is ideal for massage therapists or individual private home use.
More information at : Http://tinyurl.Com/kqk93r or more information visit: Http://tinyurl.Com/nls8z7

--
Pamela Greenaway.Massage Therapist.Life Coach.
Botox is an increasingly popular non-surgical cosmetic anti-wrinkle treatment, and has earned the nickname "the lunchtime facelift" for the ease of access to the treatment and its fast-acting effects on lines and wrinkles. Anti-wrinkle injections are now treated as a lifestyle product as harmless as lipgloss. However, Botox is derived from a form of botulinum (a bacterial toxin that causes botulism) and must be administered with care by qualified practitioners.

Despite this, many unlicensed clinics offer anti-wrinkle injections and even some teenagers are now demanding the treatment to prevent facial lines from forming. Anti-wrinkle injections carry risks if administered incorrectly, and healthcare bodies and ethical practitioners are now calling for greater regulation on the Botox industry in the UK - estimated to top £1bn this year.

Botox is used to treat wrinkles that form in the skin from repeated muscular activity, for example frown lines, crows' feet and forehead lines. It works by blocking the release of the chemical from the nerve ending that stops the muscle from contracting, the skin over the muscle does not fold, and therefore no folding or wrinkling of the skin occurs.

Aesthetic procedures to enhance an individual's appearance are increasingly accessible and more affordable than in previous years, and if anti-wrinkle injections are properly administered at the right dose, they have an excellent safety record. However, as with any medical procedure there are risks associated with Botox, including bruising, thinning of muscle fibres (if used repeatedly over time), and weakness of the muscles in the treated area, which can lead to drooping of the eyelids or eyebrows. Botox should also not be used on patients affected by certain skin conditions, broken skin or rashes in the area to be treated.

Demand for Botox treatment is steadily growing, and last year a report by Which? found a worrying lack of regulation of non-invasive treatments (i.e. injections, laser treatments, chemical peels etc). There were 472,000 non-invasive treatments carried out last year, and more than 55,000 of these treatments were anti-wrinkle injections. Many of the people having the injections were unlikely to check if the product was appropriately licensed and if the person administering it was qualified to do so.
The Which? report's independent panel of experts visited 19 clinics, and only five rated as "good". Recently, DIY Botox kits were withdrawn from sale on the auction site EBay amid safety fears - nurses had been selling the kits for people to use at home.

There is no single body that regulates the clinics that give anti-wrinkle injections and other minimally invasive treatments, and often clinics go unchecked. In 2005, a Government working group recommended that Botox anti-wrinkle injections should be regulated by the independent government regulatory body, the Healthcare Commission, but the industry is still only beholden to itself and the situation will not be reviewed until next year. Cosmetic doctors and reputable clinics hope that there will soon be a regulatory body that will rid the Botox industry of the cowboy practitioners who pose a risk to people who seek Botox treatment. Botox is a prescription drug which can only be issued by a doctor. New General Medical Council rules mean doctors must vet everyone who wants the anti-ageing treatment" Daily Mail, 10th December 2008.

--
Dr Sean Lanigan -Consultant Dermatologist - sk:n was established in 1990 and is the UK's leading provider of skincare treatment including: laser hair removal, & laser tattoo removal.

contacts:
Dr Sean Lanigan
Direct Marketing Manager
Email: g.grozier@lasercare-clinics.co.uk
http://www.sknclinics.co.uk

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

The removal of excess body hair is not a recent phenomenon. The ancient Romans buffed, rubbed and oiled their bodies, using volcanic pumice stone to rub away unwanted hair. Today, more modern methods of hair removal are used, but the principle is still the same. The body beautiful image is big business, promoted by almost too-perfect celebrities and media icons such as movie and television stars. However, there are other reasons behind why we insist on scraping, waxing and generally employing any method we can to achieve a hairless look. Sportsmen, particularly swimmers and cyclists, remove excess leg and body hair to increase speed and improve their performance. The bodybuilding industry insists on hair-free bodies so that the underlying muscles can be seen clearly. Now, ordinary people (both men and women) are in search of a hair removal system that lasts longest and, just as importantly, doesn't hurt too much!

Out of all the methods available, the two most common methods are waxing and laser hair removal. Hot wax hair removal is a relatively simple process of using warm, liquefied wax that is spread onto the area to be treated. A cloth or muslin strip is then pressed onto the surface of the wax and the whole lot is then ripped off the skin, taking the hair by plucking it out from the root of the hair follicle. Depending on the sensitivity of the area of the skin being treated, this can be an extremely painful experience, although the pain is short-lived. The process has to be repeated every few weeks and doesn't permanently remove hair although it does tend to grow back less dense and finer than before due to the weakening of the follicle. Hot wax is commonly available, including home treatment off-the-shelf kits that are relatively cheap.

laser hair removal, however, is a more permanent method of hair removal but there are some considerations to be taken into account. Primarily, laser hair removal requires a course of treatments so as to remove hairs at all stages of the growth cycle. You also need to be sure that you are suitable for treatment. Those with darker skin colouring may find that laser hair removal is not appropriate because of the potential damage to the skin's pigmentation. It is essential that you speak to a qualified practitioner before starting any laser treatment. The sensation of laser treatment has been likened to being repeatedly snapped by a rubber band, so is probably no more painful than hot wax treatments. After a course of treatments the hair follicle is rendered inoperative and the hair will not grow back, so laser hair removal is a more permanent method of removing unwanted hair than hot wax treatments.

If you don't have the initial finance to pay for laser hair removal, then hot wax treatments are a useful alternative, albeit one that has to be repeated continuously. As the hair has to be a certain length before the process can be applied, it leaves several days in between treatments when unwanted hair will be visible. Laser hair removal does take time and yes, it does cost money, but it is a permanent solution to the problem and in the long run may actually be more cost effective than a lifetime's worth of waxing.

--
Dr Sean Lanigan -Consultant Dermatologist - sk:n was established in 1990 and is the UK's leading provider of skincare treatment including: laser hair removal, & laser tattoo removal.

contacts:
Dr Sean Lanigan
Direct Marketing Manager
Email: g.grozier@lasercare-clinics.co.uk
http://www.sknclinics.co.uk

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

Most people imagine that laser tattoo removal involves ‘burning' the tattoo out of the skin. The reality is much simpler in method and far less painful than most people think. Laser tattoo removal is carried out using a simple process of employing short bursts from a laser, which create intense pulses of light. Each pulse passes through the top layers of the skin and is absorbed into the tattoo pigments that sit below. The energy created by the laser breaks up the pigments, which are later removed naturally by the body's immune system, with the white blood cells ‘flushing out' the fragments. Thanks to intensive research carried out over the last few years into the optimum frequency to carry out this operation, the original and natural pigment of the skin remains untouched, minimising scarring.

Laser tattoo removal will not remove the entire tattoo in one go. Because the pigments break up at different intensities, several sessions may be required to remove a tattoo completely. Usually the black pigments clear first because black absorbs all types of laser wavelengths. Other colours only absorb certain wavelengths for example red tattoo ink absorbs green laser light and consequently those specific wavelengths have to be used to remove other colours. There is usually a minimum four week gap between each treatment to allow the immune system to absorb and remove the pigment, so laser surgery isn't instantaneous - it may take many months for the treatment to be completed.

Laser tattoo removal sessions are relatively short, usually only lasting a matter of a few minutes. Once the procedure has finished the doctor may dress the area worked on with an antibacterial ointment and sterile dressing to protect the skin against the risk of infection. The area should then be kept clean but not bathed until at least 24 hours after the procedure.

As with all laser surgery, laser tattoo removal can result in hyper-pigmentation, which causes the skin to darken, or hypo-pigmentation where the skin whitens. With tattoos that have been in place for a considerable time, incomplete pigmentation removal may leave some traces of the original tattoo. There is also the possibility of scarring as a result of the procedure, particularly if the treated area becomes infected.

laser tattoo removal doesn't usually hurt as such, but may be considered to be an uncomfortable procedure. It has been likened to being repeatedly snapped by a thin rubber band or having hot drops of wax or fat dropped onto the surface of the skin. In comparison to the original pain felt during the tattoo's placement on the skin it is about parable.

The tattoo is an expression of one's personality, and the best course of action is to think very carefully about having a tattoo in the first place. If you feel that you will still be happy with it in 20 years' time, then it can be a worthwhile and meaningful addition to your body. If, however, you fall out of love with your body art, laser tattoo removal offers you the opportunity to reverse what was previously considered to be a permanent alteration of the skin surface.

--
Dr Sean Lanigan -Consultant Dermatologist - sk:n was established in 1990 and is the UK's leading provider of skincare treatment including: laser hair removal, & laser tattoo removal.

contacts:
Dr Sean Lanigan
Direct Marketing Manager
Email: g.grozier@lasercare-clinics.co.uk
http://www.sknclinics.co.uk

Source: http://www.articletrader.com
