To many articles displayed on latest articles?

I have 54 articles showing on latest articles page. Does anyone know how and where I change this number please to lower it?
This is what I have currently in php $this->articles = $this->getArticles('','article_featured_state DESC, article_id DESC',20);
in latest articles block.
