It might be that you have been waiting for the opening of a new play for many weeks now at Broadway Shows. And if the play in question is Schiller's Mary Stuart, directed by Phyllida Lloyd, a play which has already made headlines and created rippling sensations, then a wait might seem too long.

The plot revolves around their insecurities, deception, rivalry, and lust for power through bloody feuds. The star cast includes award winning performances by Janet McTeer, who played Mary, the Queen of Scotland and Harriet Walter as Elizabeth, the Queen of England under the exemplary direction of Phyllida Lloyd. The other cast included Brian Murray as Earl of Shrewsbury, Jacqueline Antraramian as Mary, Hanna Kennedy, and Michael Countryman as Sir Amias Paulet, Monique Flower as Elizabeth, Hanna Kennedy, and Chandler Williams as Mortimer. One of the most important and interesting facts about Mary Stuart is that it holds a place in the opera repertory in Donizetti's version. If you are theater lover and want to enjoy a great performance, then wait no more? Log on to the Broadway theaters' website and book your tickets. The website, http://www.marystuartonbroadway.com provides information on the days and timings of the play being performed, so that you can plan your day. For your information, it is being performed on Tuesday through Saturday at 8 pm, Wednesday and Saturday at 2 pm and Sunday at 3 pm. The other aspect includes the pricing of the tickets, for Orchestra it is $106.50 to $116.50 and for Mezzanine, it is $69 to $76 approximately. The duration of play is 2:45 hours including a15 minute break. The play has won seven nominations, including Best Revival of the play, Best Actress and has also won Tony Award for Best Costume Design in 2009.
