Exhibition Stands and How to Choose the Right One

Submitted by manjeet

There are many different types of exhibition stand available today and trying to choose the correct stand for any given situation can therefore, be a problem. There are modular stands, portable pop-up stands, panel-and-pole stands, portable banner stands and even literature stands. The various kinds of exhibition display stands are described below.
Modular display stands are normally large in stature as opposed to the pop-up or portable stands and their framework is often inflexible. A large number of modular display stands are more often than not custom made, and have a tendency to be rather expensive, but they can also by vibrant and catchy.
The pop-up display stands differ greatly to their modular counterparts. These pop-up stands are much faster to assemble, very much smaller in size and consequently very portable. They have the added bonus of being far cheaper than the modular stands as well. Pop-up stands are basically very lightweight and can be erected easily in less than one minute.
In contrast, panel-and-pole exhibition stands provide a sizeable exhibition stand that is very affordable but is also very portable. Panels and poles that are clipped together are how these stands are assembled and the whole procedure normally only takes a few minutes.
Banner stands tend to be an excellent choice if one is searching for a fairly cheap, yet very professional looking display. Banner stands are quite often lightweight and retractable, with some model varieties weighing in at no more than four kilos. Banner stands are typically housed in a carry bag that has been fitted with a shoulder strap.
When it comes to choosing an exhibition stand, it all very much depends on the budget available, the size of the exhibition where products are to be displayed and the re-usability of the display stand in question. For displaying at big exhibitions then a modular stand is the way to go, especially if there are financial restraints in place. Travelling salesman who need to exhibit products quickly and in a simply way, should consider using a retractable roll-up stand which is very much suited to this kind of displaying.
